Warranty Coverage

ATOWN Bat Co. offers a 45-day limited warranty on eligible wood bats purchased directly from ATOWN Bat Co. or an authorized dealer. This warranty covers manufacturer defects under normal use.

All wood bats are handcrafted. Cosmetic variations are normal and not considered defects.

Hitting Guidelines

(Required for Warranty Coverage)
To ensure proper performance and maintain warranty eligibility, ATOWN Bat Co. wood bats must be used in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • Use leather-covered baseballs only
  • Strike the ball with logo up or away.
  • Avoid contact near the handle or within 3 inches of the end cap
  • Rotate the bat slightly between swings to reduce stress
  • Do not use in batting cages or with dimple balls
  • Do not use weighted balls or training balls
  • Avoid use in temperatures below 60°F (15°C)

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in damage not covered under warranty.

What’s Covered
  • Breakage due to manufacturer's defect
  • Structural failure under normal playing conditions

Limit: One (1) replacement per bat purchase

What’s Not Covered
  • Hitting anything other than leather-covered baseballs
  • Batting cage or dimple ball use
  • Slamming, throwing, or intentional abuse
  • Hitting a ball off the handle or within 3 inches of the end of the bat
  • Use in temperatures below 60°F (15°C)
  • Storing a bat in a car or an area exposed to the weather or high humidity
  • Cosmetic wear, cupping that does not affect performance
  • Bats purchased from non-authorized sellers
  • Clearance or discounted bats (as noted at purchase)
  • Grips, decals, or normal wear and tear

Important Notes

  • Customized bats are final sale and not eligible for refunds
  • Warranty applies to the original purchaser only
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Customer is responsible for all shipping costs

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

  3. If approved, you will receive return instructions

All warranty claims must be submitted within 45 days of purchase.

Final Determination

All bats are inspected upon return. ATOWN Bat Co. reserves the right to:

  • Approve or deny warranty claims
  • Replace with the same or comparable model
  • Deny claims due to misuse or abuse
